We're excited you're considering visiting us! We want you to feel comfortable and at home when you arrive, so here are a few FAQs to help you plan your trip.
Services last about one hour and 15 minutes. We start by singing a few songs, then our Senior Pastor, Dan Weyerhaeuser, or a guest speaker, delivers a message. If you want a preview of the type of messages we hear on an average Sunday, check out our current series.
In Lakeland Kids, children 5th grade and younger experience Jesus on their level. We provide safe, age-appropriate environments where kids have a fun experience with singing, a Bible lesson, crafts, and other activities.
You should plan to arrive around 10 minutes early if you have children who will be checking in for the first time. You can head right to the "First Time Check In" sign in the lobby, where one of our volunteers will assist you in getting your family set up in our secure check in system, and then show you to the right classrooms for your kids.
We also have a viewing room where nursing moms and infants can find a quiet place can watch the service together. It's located next to the women's restroom in the east hallway.
We have a Junior High group that meets during the 10:45am service. Our main teen programing is on Sunday nights at 6:00pm (Sr. High) and Wednesday nights at 6:30pm (Jr. High).
During the 9:00am service, we have our Adult Bible Community, a group that explores current social issues, Christian theology, and other hot topics in a small group environment. You can learn more here.
Don't feel like you have to dress up. Most people wear casual attire, but you are welcome to wear whatever makes you comfortable.
We do! It's located in the Welcome Room on the east side of the lobby, and you're free to bring it with you into service.
Fill in the blank with whatever fear you have about not being accepted: divorced, single parent, broke, recovering addict, atheist, skeptic, etc. Everyone is welcome at Lakeland. So come as you are, and we’ll see you on Sunday!
