What Is Lakeland Kids?
Every Sunday all children (babies through 5th grade) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way. We would love to see you and your family visit Lakeland Kids this Sunday. Join the fun and experience a world where kids meet Jesus on their level!
Your First Visit!
When you first walk into the lobby, look for the area designated for first-time families. You can also ask any of our hosts, who would love to take you to the right place. We'll meet your family, check your child into our database system, and one of our volunteers will lead you and your child to their age-appropriate room.
How Check-In Works
You may check in your child in the North Lobby. You and your child will be given matching identification tags that are exclusive to your family. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you keep the matching tag. After the service, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.
What We Value
Creative Bible Teaching
The Bible is the most amazing book ever written! We strive to bring its stories to life through activities and discussions that keep children engaged. We want all children to love God’s word and understand the value of applying it to their lives.
We value children’s relationships within the small group setting as they relate to their leader and other kids in the group.
Every child’s name tag is matched to a parent-identification number, and every volunteer is screened with an interview and a national criminal background check.
Kids love fun! We realize that when children have fun at church, they can’t wait to come back. We value creating fun ways for children to learn about Jesus, including games, activities, singing, and activities.
Mom's Viewing Room
A viewing room is available for moms with nursing babies. This is a "Moms Only" room for women and their babies to view the service in a more private and quiet environment. It's located next to the women's restroom in the east hallway.
Take the next step to lead and spiritually nurture your child in cooperation with the Holy Spirit, with the prayer that your child will develop a desire to love God and love others. If you would like to find out more about this step, please contact Judy Crockett for more details.
