What Is His Kids?
Every Sunday all children (babies through 5th grade) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way.
We would love to see you and your family visit His Kids at Lakeland this Sunday. Join the fun and experience a world where kids meet Jesus on their level!
Look for the area designated for first-time families.
We will meet your family, check your child into our
database system, and one of our volunteers will
lead your child to their age-appropriate room.
We will ask for the following personal information:
family members' names, children’s names and
birthdates, address, phone number, and any
special instructions (allergies, special needs) for
You may check in your child in the North Lobby. You and your child will be given matching identification tags that are exclusive to your family. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you keep the matching tag. After the service, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.
The Ride Home
On your way home, be sure to ask your child questions like, "Did you
have fun?" and "What did you learn today?" It's our goal that every
child has a positive answer to these two questions, every week!
Mom's Viewing Room
A viewing room is available for moms with nursing babies. This is a "Moms Only" room for women and their babies to view the service in a more private and quiet
Do you have 4th and 5th graders? Our
group 4:12 plans special events just
for them every quarter!
The next 4:12 event will be in the fall.
Check back in August for details!
Take the next step to lead and spiritually nurture
your child in cooperation with the Holy Spirit, with
the prayer that your child will develop a desire to
love God and love others.
Our next Parent/Child Dedication will be held on
Sunday, May 21.
What We Value
Creative Bible Teaching
The Bible is the most amazing book ever written! We strive to bring its stories to life through activities and discussions that keep children engaged. We want all children to love God’s word and understand the value of applying it to their lives.
We value children’s relationships within the small group setting as they relate to their leader and other kids in the group. As families commit to attending the same service each week, children are placed in a group of familiar faces where relationships can grow.
Every child’s name tag is matched to a parent-identification number,
and every volunteer is screened with an interview and federal background
Kids love fun! We realize that when children have fun at church, they can’t wait to come back. We value creating fun ways for children to learn about Jesus, including games, activities, singing, and activities.
